About Lantana

Lantana In Fish Cakes Espresso Coffee
For people who believe that if you are going to eat it or drink it, it should be savoured.
Lantana is a bustling little café tucked down a laneway off Goodge Street in Fitzrovia, central London.
With our focus on serving excellent coffee and an interesting but simple menu in a relaxed environment, it has been called “a little bit of Australia in Fitzrovia”.
“…the new Australia of good coffee and Baz Luhrman rather than piss-poor lager and Paul Hogan”
(Blake Pudding, The London Review of Breakfasts)
The name Lantana comes from a beautiful flowering plant that was transported from South America to Australia by immigrants where, because of its hardy, tenacious nature, it took hold, becoming an iconic Australian plant. A weed of national significance and an apt metaphor for the cafe as it too has thrived on foreign soil since opening in 2008. In April 2012 the weed spread and we opened a sister café in Shoreditch called Salvation Jane.
Lantana is open 7 days a week, serving breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday and all day brunch at the Weekend. For those short on time or on the move, simply pop next door to Lantana Out, our takeaway shop.
Catering is available for local businesses and offices (see details here).
